Great Falls Montana ZoomProspector allows users to search for selected available commercial buildings and sites as well as generate site-specific demographic and business analysis reports.
Great Falls Montana ZoomProspector speeds up and simplifies the process of finding the optimal location for a business in Great Falls Montana Development Authority area by providing public access to a range of valuable information.

Search for Available Buildings or Land
To search for vacant building space or developable land, click on Search Buildings or Search Sites. You can select All or search by your choice of criteria including, but not limited to: type of space; minimum and maximum size requirements; properties for lease or for sale; or by price. Or search by geographic location in any one or more of Great Falls Montana Developement Authority municipalities. Note: Only areas within the Great Fall Montana Development Authority are searchable on this website.

Create Demographic Reports
Once you have selected a property, you can create site-specific demographic reports. Select the type of report you want from the tabs near the top of the webpage: Labor Force, Demographics or Consumer Spending. You can see results for your choice of radius or drive time from the selected property. Alternatively, you can obtain demographic information on any one (or more) of the county's 31 municipalities or the entire county itself by clicking Search Communities in the toolbar. This information can be used to better understand the demographic characteristics of the area you are analyzing.

Create Business Competition & Synergy Reports
After selecting a property, click on the Business tab to create site-specific business competition and synergy reports which can be adjusted by radii. Or, from the homepage, click on the Search Businesses tab. You can search for a specific business by name or more generally by single or multiple business classes, types or NAICS codes. This information can be used to identify businesses that can be potential synergy or competition for your business.

Interactive Mapping
Properties are linked to interactive maps that display geographic information such as the locations of streets, highways, cities, bodies of water, railroads, points of interest, major educational facilities and parks. All of the maps are completely interactive and you determine what information is displayed. To see graphic representations of some demographic information, select Overlays and click on the box next to one of the items. The map will display one or more colors; click on Legend to view the demographic definitions by color.
